What is the flu? Influenza (the flu) is an infection of the nose, throat,
and lungs caused by influenza viruses. There are many different influenza viruses that are constantly changing. Flu viruses cause illness, hospital stays and deaths in the United States each year. The flu can be very dangerous for children. Each year
about 20,000 children younger than 5 years old are hospitalized from flu complications, like pneumonia

The FSA ID has replaced the Federal Student Aid PIN and must be used to log in to certain U.S. Department of Education websites. Your FSA ID confirms your identity when you access your financial aid information and electronically sign Federal Student Aid documents. If you do not already have an FSA ID, you can create one when logging in to fafsa.gov, the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS®) at www.nslds.ed.gov, StudentLoans.gov, StudentAid.gov, and Agreement to Serve (ATS) at www.teach-ats.ed.gov.

The DOE is raising money for victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. The voluntary donations will be collected through the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and will provide critical relief to students and their families in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
