Facing History and Ourselves will work with participating teachers in spring/summer 2014 through summer 2015.

 

Facing History and Ourselves will provide at no cost to the school:

Attendance at a New York regional summer seminar for participating teachers

A class set of Facing History resource books for each teacher who attends a seminar and agrees to implement a Facing History unit of at least 4 weeks in his or her class*

Access to Facing History’s lending library (including DVDs andother multimedia resources), downloadable Common Core guides,and online resources for each teacher who attends a seminar andagrees implement a Facing History unit of at least 4 weeks in his or her class

Year-long consultation service from a Facing History Program Associate, including online, phone, and in-person support. (Facing History will continue to support school staff in succeeding years.)

In-service professional development workshop using Facing History resources at your school by request

*Additional class sets may be provided as needed.
