What is CDI?

Comprehensive Development, Inc. (CDI) is a nonprofit organization that provides free college services to the students of the High School for Health Professions and Human Services. CDI is dedicated to removing the barriers that prevent students from graduating and going on the college and careers. We've developed a model founded on the 15 year partnership between CDI and Manhattan Comprehensive Nigh & Day High School and a broad range of community partners that connect our students with transformative opportunities and resources. CDI and MC launched their partnership with HPHS in September 2011 to offer HPHS students the same kind of intensive, individualized college services that have helped MC students succeed.

Our goal? HPHS students need easily accessible, comprehensive support services to succeed. As a nonprofit organization, CDI provides a level of support that public schools do not have the resources to offer. We are able to provide intensive and individualized college advising to the students of HPHS through raising money from individual donors and foundations and by forming strong partnerships with community organizations.
